Children are fragile. They see the world for what it shows and never question it otherwise. Their hearts are pure and delicate. Hence, when the slightest inconvenience happens, they shatter. They break down, blaming themselves for how the world treats them. They work towards pleasing the world and finding a place for themselves amongst those who don’t accept them. KileyLangille went down the same road until one day, she saw the light on a different path. And now, she is dedicated to guiding everyone to the same route. The cycle ends now.
Kiley Langille was different. There was something about her that made her the center of attention. She was noticed by everyone, and soon after, was called out for it as well. Kiley was severely bullied for being extraordinarily tall, and there wasn’t a day she wasn’t teased for it. What once for her was normal became an irreversible agony. She tried her best to become someone she was not and be accepted as normal. The thoughts lingering in her mind constantly decreased her self-confidence. She was in a continuous battle within herself and just wished someone to guide her once.
Childhood, Kiley believes, is quite a fragile part of life. It can either make or break a person. Hence, children need to have support and develop a sense of direction through it. Unfortunately, Kiley Langille lacked support and guidance. If she had someone by her side, she would have known her weakness was, in fact, her strength. Now, when she looks back to what she went through, she only wishes she wasn’t alone.
Regardless of the obstacles her way, Kiley Langille continued to add achievements into her life. She relentlessly moved forward and conquered each milestone. While being an actress, model, and casting director, Kileypursued her career in writing and became an author.
Learning through experiences and extracting life lessons is indeed the purest form of wisdom. Kiley Langille aims to guide children who have been or are being bullied for their uniqueness. Her goal is to make every child believe in themselves and accept themselves for who they are. Her motto is to make every child showcase their uniqueness with pride and honor and do not look for ways to fit in, rather stand out.
You deserve to be yourself, openly and proudly. You do not require approval to be who you are. The only acceptance you need is from yourself. So be your own support, flaunt your uniqueness, and let the world know who you truly are! All of us are different, and that difference is what helps us create our identity. So be you, as no one else can do it better.
